Hi David - yes I do have a suggestion. You could sign up for one of our tours without a cruise. I recommend you take the 15 day Kennicott/Cordova/Arctic Circle tour. In fact it is offered with a cruise or as a Land Tour only. As I write this there are only 9 spots left for this tour in 2009 or you could wait until 2010. Read more here: http://kissalaska.com/tours/15d-21d-cordova.html

Hi, Colleen! I enjoyed your story and still think back to that great trip in September 2007. By the way, I now have a GPS logger and don't have to pester the driver about where we are all the time.

I'm wanting to do another trip to the far north some day, but I would rather not have to duplicate the cruise part of a tour since I've already done it once. I'd rather use that time to see more of the land package. Any suggestions?

colleen,
I really enjoyed and appreciated your story. I'm an undergraduate senior and I drive campus buses part-time. Not particularly excited to get a "normal job" with my economics degree, I'm seriously looking into an experience like this for a year or two once I graduate next May. Thanks for the great detail and recommendations.

I liked your story. Hope to visit Alaska one day from New York. If you have friends in New York interested in CPR have them look at our website. Will be glad to help them out.
